custard powder & Sugar free jelly

Hiya do you think these will be ok, the thinking behind the custard powder is it consists mainly of cornflour no sugar in it and can be made with skimmed milk and sweetner and the sugar free jelly well is self explanatory.

I love Rhubarb and custard and was thinking would be a good pudding when on the cruise stage.

What is the carb count on the powder? I know the stuff we have in Canada is way too high in carbs and would not be allowed. If you look in the book, you will find a custard recipe in there that you can make with rhubarb.

The sf jelly is okay on all stages.

Hiya thanks for the reply, its 87g in a 100g of powder you need roughly 2 tablespoons for a pint of custard so about 29g per pint. Its 4 more grams of carbs than the cornflour I have.

Thinking is would be ok for a treat but maybe not everyday?? Smile

I will check out the recipe in the book as well!

ps. first day on diet feeling peckish but not sure what to have would normally have a cuppa with a biccy at this time! Embarassed any ideas appreciated!
