Hi I'm Miss Fishy

Post  Miss Fishy on Mon Apr 26, 2010 10:22 pm

Hi guys.

I'm completely new to this kind of thing but I thought it might help with my motivation to stick to the diet. I started the attack phase today and all going well I should reach my target the 25th of June 2010. Sounds great but I'm worried I might smell and look like a (slim!) monster from the sea by then. I don't eat meat, only fish and shell fish and already today I have consumed more fish than I would normally do in a week. On the plus side, I might be able to give Rick Stein a run for his money in a few weeks time!!!!!!

I look forward to keeping up to date with you all.

Shellfish is a delcious and filling snack, I've discovered, and so quick to prepare. I buy a pot of mussels from Waitrose (from the Big Prawn Co.) and rinse out the brine before adding some vinegar. Then just eat them out the pot. Yum!

Hi Simon

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I don't live in the posh part of town so no Waitrose for me but Sainsbury's have quite a selection of shellfish so I wont go hungry.

I'm one of those towns where the Waitrose and the Netto are almost next to each other Very Happy

Waitrose meat is really expensive, I'd go bankrupt trying to get all my protein from waitrose!

Hi Simon

I love Waitrose and I'm toying with the idea of ordering from them online but I better wait until after the diet - they make the best brownies in the world ......
