21 lbs to get rid of (well 17lbs now!)

I wanted to lose 21lbs and I've lost 4 during my 5 day attack phase.

I think that there are 4 phases to weight loss:

  1. Intial getting rid of the bloatedness
  2. The half way point. Noticing how different things are. You're not there yet but there's a big difference. Looser clothes, thinner body, other people noticing the weight loss and encouraging you on.
  3. About to approach the final phase. You're noticabily thinner, gone from fat to a bit over-weight. All the work you've done shows when you look in the mirror
  4. Final stage and you look great. Weight loss now is just the few final lbs down to the ideal.

Rather than looking towards the end of the diet, I like to think about getting just to the next stage. It makes the diet seem to go quicker.

Started with 21lbs to lose
Now have 17lbs left

Stage 5, the girls are running after you cause you became a so sexy and attractive guy ^^

Personaly, my brother laughed at me when i said i started a diet. 6 weeks later, he saw the first results, and he decided to start his diet as well. :-)

I totally agree with you on those phases!
I recently throwed all my wardrobe an bought clothes from XXL size to XL. It's very motivating. Expensive, but motivating :-)

Started with 21lbs to lose
After attack phase 17lbs left
After week #2 13¾lbs left


That's 7¼lbs in 2 weeks!

Wow that is a serious amount of weight to loose in two weeks. It's great to follow your progress and keeping the rest of us motivated. Well done.
